Position Summary

Reporting to the Branch Manager and Director, Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain for Parts Sales and Procurement, the Part Sales / Warehouse Support will be responsible for the performance of a variety of duties including part sales, shipping, receiving, warehouse duties, filling internal and external orders, internal part sales and local ordering when required. Other responsibilities will include the performance of related clerical duties required to fulfill the duties of a parts person, such as effectively using the Company ERP system, excel spreadsheets, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying. This role will require a solid understanding of tanks and tank trailer parts, service and delivery as well as warehouse processes.
The Part Sales / Warehouse Support will lead by example with integrity and respect for all employees, vendors and customers. The Part Sales / Warehouse Support will ensure that all aspects of the part sales and warehouse areas are functioning effectively and efficiently within guidelines created to coordinate and integrate safety, quality, costing and sales support to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure the smooth operation of their processes.

Deliverables

• Follow all Company, Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources and Department Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
• Learn and effectively use the Company ERP system, the CRM, and all other online programs required to fulfill the duties of a parts person.
• Handle orders and requests for parts and parts information by providing accurate, courteous, efficient and professional service to telephone, electronic and over-the-counter customers.
• Prepare customer orders and handle product returns including returning unsold items to stock and warranty claims related to part sales.
• Assist Branch Manager and/or Purchaser/Expediter in daily operations including maintaining inventory, and stock levels.
• Effectively, efficiently and timely perform all shipping, receiving and warehouse duties including but not limited to:
o Receive and ship out parts - physically
o Relieve parts in ERP system – paper and electronically
o Add parts and materials to jobs
o Perform cycle counting and daily adjustments – ensuring an accurate inventory
o Pull and fill orders from stock for orders via telephone, electronic and internal processes
o Replenish assigned inventory daily
• Maintain orderliness of warehouse and efficiency of bin / material locations including tagging shelves and locations accordingly.
• Acknowledge all internal and external customers and provide a high level of service.
• Notify shop supervisor and the customers when special ordered parts have been received.
• Assist in ordering parts and services as necessary.
• Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
• Perform other duties as required.
